The head of the PRME initiative is asking participants to
seriously consider making its books, published in partnership with GSE
Research, available to students and faculty through the Greenleaf Online Library (GOL) and Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) digital collections.
The PRME series includes the Inspirational Guide for the Implementation of PRME: Second Edition and UK & Ireland Edition; and Socially Responsive Organizations and the Challenge of Poverty by Gudic, Rosenbloom and Parkes.
In a letter to signatories, Jonas Haertle said: ‘The
mission of PRME is to inspire and champion responsible management education,
research and thought leadership globally and supports its signatory schools to
establish a process of continuous improvement among institutions of management
education in order to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of
managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st
century. We appreciate the importance of your key role as an information
professional in shaping and supporting the responsible management curriculum
and research agenda’
The latest iteration of SOL contains around 10,000 chapters, case
studies and articles drawn from nearly 800 books and journal issues, published by Greenleaf Publishing and partners including; PRME, the UN Global Compact, AASHE, the
International Labour Organization (ILO), the Geneva Association (GA) and Berrett-Koehler. Three further PRME titles are included in this collection. The
